Chinatown is, as the name suggests, a Chinese dominated ethnical district that is situated along Yaowarat road and its sidestreets. Famous for it's delicious streetfood and Chinese restaurants, this area gives visitors a short "Beijing experience".
As most labels are in Chinese and many people speaking in Chinese language, you might forget for a moment that you are still in Thailand actually.
It's recommended to go there after dark, as most restaurants and foodshops open their doors in the evening. Moreover, nightfall gives Chinatown a special charm as the streets, shops, and buildings with all the labels are illuminated in various colors.

How to get there: From Khaosan: You can take a taxi to Yaowaran road, which will not cost more that 100 THB. From Downtown: Take MRT and get off at Hua Lamphong Station and walk 500 m to Chinatown (Yaowarat Road)
